Above ground (Givenvhy: adore)

Glass was the material of choice.
Two kinds of glass with different color.
For the higher part, the staircase is handing by steel string, and for the lower part, the staircase is supporting by the polished metal beam with the cross-section shown on the sketch.  




Below ground (Jeff Wright:roar)

The material here is concrete for both staircase and the platform.

This photo was taken on my way home last year on my way home. Apart of the sky was tinted by the sunset glow. And the birds on the wire also made the sky more interesting.

Architecture

Fallingwater is a house designed by architect Frank Lloyd Wright. It is one of the masterpiece around the worl. This modern house is set above a waterfall, merging the artificial with the natural in perfect harmony.

Creative Work

This is one of the assignment of my last year's course, the image shows the Department of Lands building which was designed by James Barnet. I used coffee to color the drawing instead of the traditional materials at that time. Coffee is a kind of suitable material to color a drawing. When we use expresso, the color will be darker. If we want some light-brown color, we can add water to the coffee or use another type of coffee.
